Gustavo and Frances Loza started the first Discoteca Casa Loza in 1972, just down the street from where the current Casa Loza sits.
Gustavo and Frances went to see a Spanish language film at Granada Theatre one day and noticed the business next door was looking for new owners. The first tiny Casa Loza Record Shop / Discoteca Casa Loza was born.

About The Team
Team Loza
Emilio Loza and Gabriela Loza are both artists. Emilio Loza is a freelance sculptor and has worked for Walt Disney Imagineering as a Senior Dimensional Designer and Sculptor. He most recently worked on 'The Mandelorian' and 'Asoka Tano' as a sculptor. Emilio is also an accomplished musician who is currently finishing his debut album with his band 'Ripening Spine'.
Gabriela Loza is an award winning filmmaker and production designer. Her debut film 'Erased', which she wrote and directed has garnered selections and screenings in 18 international film festivals around the world, won 13 awards and received 10 nominations. www.erasedfilm.com They are being assisted by their cousin Gerardo Almazan to bring new life to Casa Loza.
